London, ON –Dr. Colleen Hanycz, the Principal of Brescia University College, has assumed the role of Co-chair of the educational sector of the 2012 United Way Cabinet for London-Middlesex. Chairing with her will be Cathie Auger, Vice President, Student Support at Fanshawe College.
Colleen Hanycz says, “Since the beginning, the educational sector has provided strong leadership support and advocacy for the United Way. I am looking forward to continuing my support – and Brescia’s support – for this important cause. We want to continue to help meet the needs of those individuals in our community who require assistance. We all know how deeply southwestern Ontario has been affected economically in recent years. The work of the United Way has been invaluable in alleviating some of the worst impact and pressures experienced in this area. I am very happy to be supporting the United Way campaign in reaching their goals this year.”
