FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
October 18, 2007
LONDON, ON –Brescia’s annual Breakfast for Bursaries hosts well-known and respected Canadian broadcaster Valeria Pringle on Thursday, October 18, 7:00 am, at the London Convention Centre. This is the sixth year of the event, which has hosted more than 2,000 attendees and has featured prominent speakers, including last year’s guest Pamela Wallin.
As Canada’s university-level women’s college, Brescia strives to provide students with excellent education and leadership opportunities. The financial strain of attending a post-secondary institution can be an overwhelming burden for many students. Breakfast for Bursaries raises funds for the Eleanore Donnelly Bursary, which assists mature female students who might otherwise be unable to attend Brescia.
The Breakfast’s lead sponsor is Xenon Capital Corporation/Lonventure Capital Fund Limited and we are grateful for the many generous supporters of this year’s event.
