London, ON – Brescia University College has partnered with Sport Western to host “Get Real” Camp this summer for girls between the ages of 8-11. The camp will be held at Brescia, taking advantage of the scenic campus, and close proximity to The University of Western Ontario. The programming for “Get Real” focuses on self-discovery, positive relationships, and healthy lifestyle choices.
Brescia is the first of Western’s affiliate College’s to host a summer camp. In conjunction with Brescia’s Institute for Women in Leadership (IWIL) the new summer camp initiative will promote leadership in young women as they explore what it means to be a leader and their own capabilities for leadership.
The camp will run from July 16 – 20 from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm for girls aged 8-9, and from July 30 –
August 3 from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm for girls aged 10 – 11. Registration is $175 and can be made through Sport Western at campusrec.uwo.ca/sport_western/registration.htm or by contacting Brescia’s Student Services Centre at 519 432 8353 ext 28011.
